Training a golden retriever is not difficult, as the dog is intelligent; kennels should first of all socialize the puppy.
Puppies demand more time and attention than adult dogs. When buying a puppy, you should be ready to control it constantly. This breed may take much time to housebreak. It’s necessary to get up several times during the night to take the puppy out for about 6 months. The first year is the most difficult for the owners. It’s also very important for the development of the puppy’s personality and forming friendly relations with the family. Novice owners are not recommended to begin with a puppy. It’s better to adopt a second-hand adult or senior dog, which is already housebroken.
