Breeding Golden Retrievers is a long and complicated process. In order to produce the finest animals possible, one must carefully study the pedigree, genetics, and the breed’s basic traits.
When choosing a breeder, you should screen several breeders for their adherence to the betterment of the breed, their true goals and general attitude toward the dog. Before acquiring your puppy, start learning about the breed, their features, characteristics, health problems, nutrition, and handling requirements.
Reputable breeders are so devoted to their cause that they will thoroughly screen you, the buyer. A breeder will quiz you about your experience with dogs and your knowledge about the breed because he or she wants assurance that the dog is not going to have trouble in its new home.
This sort of studying can involve a visit of the breeder to your house, because he or she will definitely want to become familiar with the conditions in your house for the dog.
